Located in front of
the busy road opposite Methodist Girls School, the Coffeeright place has been
serving coffees for years already. I had been to the Coffeeright place a few
years ago and I thought of revisiting this place now to see what has changed. The
cosy and relaxed ambience made this place perfect for conversations over food
and coffee.
I also thought of revisiting the outdoor space, creatively styled with garden theme decorations. Upon arriving the café, I immediately requested for the alfresco dining area. However, to my disappointment, it was not opened for seating. Hence, we were seated indoors next to the huge poster of colourful city skylines. I like the simple and elegant design of the café’s interior. Unlike the mainstream hipster themed cafes, this place exudes a homely and cosy atmosphere, making me comfortable and relaxed while sipping my cuppa of coffee.
As the name of the
shop implies, this is the right place for coffee lovers. For me, I was more interested
in the attractive breakfast sets. These
affordable breakfast sets accompanied with a cup of freshly brewed coffee were
just less than RM20! You may choose the main course from the following options:
Scrambled eggs on toast
Breakfast on the go
Smoked Salmon Bruschetta
Scrambled eggs and Bacon Bruschetta
Tuna Salad Bruschetta
Every main course is served with a coffee of
your choice, either an Americano or a Long Black. You may add RM2 for a cup of
latte or cappuccino. Breakfast sets are available on weekdays from
9.30am-11.30am.
Scrambled eggs on toast & Latte, RM 18.90
This simple dish featured a slice of toast
topped with a slice of ham and scrambled eggs, garnished with curled parsley
leaves. There was a small piece of hash brown and a scoop of vegetables salad on
the side. The bread toast was crispy and it provided a good base for the ham
and scrambled eggs. This breakfast set was pretty much simple, yet filling. I
did not expect on being full after I ate everything on the plate despite the portion
looked small. The hash brown was not great as it did not taste authentic or
homemade.
Drawn with a coffee art, the latte was served
in a vintage turquoise cup. I was glad that the latte’s sweetness was just
right. Although I am a non-specialised coffee drinker, I must admit that the latte was
the best part of the breakfast set. Definitely the right place for coffee.
Personally, I felt the breakfast sets servings
were small even though I felt full as I do not eat much normally. If you want
some food to accompany your morning coffee, these breakfast sets will definitely
make your morning.
